Hello Friends,

We have been very busy here at the Inselhaus and I have some bittersweet news for you. When our last guests leave on May 12, 2013, it will mark the end of Inselhaus Bed & Breakfast but the beginning of something new and exciting. The Inselhaus will then become the Inselhaus Inc., with 7 rooms available for long-term rental. As our dear friends, former guests, and neighbors know, the Inselhaus has always been about first-class quality and service – we do not plan for this to change! The third floor, Dorothee's former Innkeeper Quarters, will be known as Apartment A. The second floor will have Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4 available for rent while the first floor will offer rooms 5 and 6.

While this is a new adventure for us that is bound to be full of excitement, it also leads us into the unknown and causes us to have mixed emotions. Throughout the years, we have had the most amazing guests that a Bed & Breakfast could ask for. From our wine and cookies in front of the fireplace with you in the evenings to our coffee wake-up calls, we will miss you more than you know. It has been a pleasure to serve Macomb and our guests from all over the globe. We look forward to spending more quality time with our family after the B&B closes in May. We have realized we are not as young as we used to be, I suppose!
